Established in 1975, CGL is one of the most sought after exams conducted by SSC, hence, commonly referred to as SSC CGL. The entire process of SSC CGL registration and communication happens online. The SSC CGL itself is conducted both in online and offline mode. Overall, the exam takes place in four stages/Tiers. The Tier I and II are conducted in the online mode and Tier III and IV are conducted in offline mode. The details of these stages as per SSC CGL 2020 Exam have been tabulated below:

Since the exam administered by the Government of India, the SSC CGL exam is only open for the citizens of India. However, the Staff Selection Commission has set an age limit for the eligible indian candidates. The minimum age required for SSC CGL 2020 is 27 years, and the maximum age limit is 32 years.
