Latest Update: RRC NWR (Jaipur) has released a waiting list of all the selected candidates in Group D against adv. 02/2018. As per the latest notice, there are a total of 321 candidates are selected in Group D. The roll number of all the selected candidates is mentioned in the merit list. Latest Update: RRB published the latest notice for Level 01 (Group D) posts on its official website on 22nd July 2022. According to the latest notice, the candidates who have served in Indian Railways as an apprenticeship program and received their certificate before the last date of application of Group D i.e. 12th April 2019 are awarded bonus marks in the final merit list. For, this the candidates who have completed their apprenticeship before the last date of online application are eligible to get these marks. The online link will be available for candidates to fill in their NCVT/SCVT details in their applications until 31st July 2022. The candidates are advised to fill in their NCVT/SCVT marks details on their respective RRBs websites before the last date. Refer to the official notification for detailed information.

RRC Level-I (Group-D) Exam Pattern
The Railway Group D Exam consists of three stages of the recruitment process namely the computer-based test, Physical efficiency test, and document verification. RRB Group D Exam Pattern: Check RRC Level 1 Exam Details
- The exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes.
- A negative marking of 1/3 is there.
- Normalization of marks will be done
- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:

RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria
Railway Recruitment always arises a plethora of questions in the minds of aspirants and here we are to answer them and help you clear your doubts.
♦What is the selection process for RRC Level 1 exam?
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification and Medical Examination.
♦Is there a normalization of marks?
Yes, marks will be normalized for all the stages of the exam.
♦Is there any negative marking in CBT?
Yes, 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
♦How many candidates will be called for PET?
Candidates shall be called for PET Three times the community-wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs/RRCs.
♦Can I choose any other exam language except English?
English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop-down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
♦What are the minimum educational qualifications to apply?
10th pass (OR) ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
NOTE: Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu, of course, completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI. Also, Graduate Act Apprentices will not be accepted in lieu of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
♦Can I apply for different zones for different posts?
No, You can apply from any one zone only.

Note: Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standards A2, A3, B1, and B2.
Important Point to Note for the RRC Group D exam
Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible as per the medical standards for the posts opted for by them. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the applied post (s) shall not be given any alternative appointment. Those who are opting for A2 medical standard posts may note that these posts have stringent medical standards and hence they are expressly advised to ensure that their fitness both in terms of vision as well as physical measures is as per the prescribed requirements in the medical manual indicated above.
RRB Group D Application Fees
The category-wise application fee is mentioned below:
- UR & OBC: Rs. 500/-
Out of this fee of Rs.500/-, an amount of Rs.400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in First Stage CBT. - SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class : Rs. 250/-

Can I modify my application form after submission?
- The RRB opted for, email id, and mobile number cannot be changed.
- After the final submission of the ONLINE application, if the candidates wish to make minor changes to correct inadvertent errors in the application, it can be done by paying the modification fee of Rs.100 (Non-Refundable).
- In the case of a candidate modifying his community from SC/ST to UR or OBC, he will have to pay the difference in examination fee i.e. Rs.250 in addition to the modification fee. In case of failure to do so, his modified application will not be accepted.
- Similarly, if a candidate is switching from Ex.SM/PwBD/Female/Transgender to UR/OBC (NCL)/Non Ex.SM/Non-PwBD/Male etc. will have to pay the difference in examination fee i.e. Rs.250 in addition to the modification fee. In case of failure to do so, his modified application will not be accepted.
- The modification to the registration and application details can be done a maximum of two times only.
RRC Level-I (Group-D): Pay Scale
Different posts carry different pay levels and allowances as admissible as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
