SSC CGL 2022 Age Limit

There are certain constraints set up by the government to recruit a suitable aspirant such as the age of the aspirant, the candidate belonging to a certain age group defined by the commission can only apply for SSC CGL. As per SSC CGL 2021-22 notification, the minimum age for an aspirant to be eligible for the recruitment is 20 years and but the maximum age limit varies depending on the different posts, like for some posts it is 27 and for others, it is 30 years. SSC CGL 2022 Examination Pattern

The candidates have to go through a selection process that includes 4 different stages for SSC CGL 2021-22 recruitment process. The SSC CGL Exam Pattern for the selection is different for all the different stages. The first stage in the process is the SSC CGL tier 1 examination which contains 100 Questions with 200 marks, a total of 60 Minutes is provided for the aspirants to attempt this examination. SSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern for Tier 1

The first stage in the selection process is an objective computer-based examination. SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 consists of 100 questions, containing 25 questions each from 4 different subjects viz Quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English, and general awareness, the questions will be asked from the syllabus of 6th to 10th standard. SSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern For Tier 2

SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 consists of 4 different examinations for different posts. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of quantitative aptitude and English language respectively are compulsory for all the posts, while Paper 3 and Paper 4 are for the aspirants who applied for Auditor and Junior Statistical Officer respectively.   • Paper-1 and Paper-2 are compulsory for all posts.
  • Paper-3 is only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Gr. II” & “Compiler”.

  • Giving a wrong answer to a question will lead to a penalty of 0.5 marks on Paper-1,3,4 and 0.25 marks on Paper-2.
  • Questions in Paper-I will be of 10th standard level, Paper-2 of 10+2 level, and Paper-3 & 4 of graduation level.
  • The computer will be provided by the Commission at the Centre/venue notified for the purpose. Candidates shall not be allowed to bring their Keyboard.
  • The exam duration is 2 hours and 40 Minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped.

SSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern For Tier 3

  • Tier 3 is a descriptive exam and is conducted offline.
  • Candidates need to write an Essay/Letter/Application/Precis. This is to test the written skills of the candidates in English/Hindi.
  • Tier 3 exam accounts for a total of 100 marks.
  • The time duration is 60 minutes.
  • The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy.

SSC CGL 2022 Exam Pattern For Tier 4 (DEST/CPT)

Tier 4 is a skill test of SSC CGL 2022 which contains the Data Entry Speed Test and Computer Proficiency Test. The details regarding the skill test which every aspirant must clear to be selected are proved below.

1. DEST (Data Entry Speed Test): Will be required for the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax). Any Candidate who takes the computer proficiency test is not required to appear for DEST as part 1 of CPT (Typing) will be automatically considered for DEST evaluation.

Requirement: Candidates must possess 8000 key depressions per hour, which is equivalent to 2000 key depressions per 15 minutes.

Relaxation: For VH Candidates: 20 minutes.

2. CPT (Computer Proficiency Test) includes the following three modules:

  • Word Processing,
  • Spread Sheets and
  • Generation of slides

A candidate must be proficient in the three modules to be eligible for the post of CSS, MEA, Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), and Inspector (Examiner).

SSC CGL Exam Date 2022
