5 September – Teacher’s Day

10 September – World Suicide Prevention Day

The day 10th September is observed as World Suicide Prevention Day internationally. Its major objective is to save the life of people by committing suicide. This day was celebrated in 2021 with the theme Creating hope through action”.

14 September – Hindi Diwas

Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 14th September in India, and it holds significant importance. On this day in 1949, the Constitution Assembly of India adopted Hindi written in the Devanagari script as the official language of the country. Hindi is now recognized as one of the most widely spoken languages in the world.

It serves as the first language for approximately 40% of the population, both within India and among Indian communities residing in foreign countries. 15 September – Engineers Day

World Patient Safety Day is observed on the 17th of September every year.  It was established by the 72nd World Health Assembly in May 2019, following the adoption of resolution WHA72.6 on ‘ Global action on patient safety.
