- Give Priority to your stronger section
When you’ll sit for the exam, make sure you attempt your stronger section first and then move forward to the other sections. The section that takes more time should be left to be attempted in the last. Similarly, do not waste your time on one question as it may cost you a few minutes that can have serious repercussions. Attempt your stronger sections as quickly as possible so that you can have enough time left for the weaker ones.
2. Be quick with the calculations
Make sure you are thorough with the short tricks and calculations as that will save you time in the exam. Maths formulas including the squares, cubes, reciprocals of numbers and tricks to solve tough calculations, should be on your fingertips. Try not to use your pen while solving simplifications. Learn tables as it will prevent wastage of time and you can utilize that time somewhere else.
3. Attempt questions that bother you in the last
In any exam, there are some questions that are difficult to solve instantly. Many aspirants keep drilling that question and when failed to solve, it results in demotivation affecting their entire performance. So, to prevent such chaos, do not attempt such questions that seem to be lengthy and time-consuming. Attempt the rest of the questions first and then come back to difficult questions in the last.
4. Maintain accuracy
Accuracy with time management should not be neglected. Do not rush into attempting a question. If you are not sure of any, just don’t attempt it. It’s better to leave a question than scoring in negative. Try not to do any guesswork and attempt questions with accuracy.
5. Practice Enough mocks
Mock tests help you in solving the issue of time management. Practice as many mock as you are able to before sitting in the exam. You can test yourself in the mocks and how you want to actually attempt the real exam. Analyze your mistakes and brace yourself for the actual examination.
