RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam is divided into two parts: Part-A and Part-B, conducted over a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Part-A consists of 100 questions to be attempted in 90 minutes and is considered for merit. Part-B has 75 questions in 60 minutes and is qualifying in nature. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Section Wise Analysis 2nd Shift
1. Mathematics: The section covered topics like Percentages, Profit & Loss, SI & CI, Time & Work, and Algebra formulae based question, successive discount, mensuration formulae related (cylinder and Sphere). The questions were of easy level.
2. General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section was scoring for most candidates, with common topics including number series, analogy, syllogism, Seating arrangement, alphanumeric series, blood relation and direction sense.
3. Basic Science and Engineering: The section included questions from physics and basic electrical concepts such as motion, force, energy, resistance, and circuits, work, power and energy drawing question, safety related (3 to 4 questions), Electricity (formulae based questions)
4. Part B – Trade-Specific Section: This section was qualifying in nature and covered trade-wise questions aligned with the ITI syllabus. Candidates who revised trade theory properly found this section manageable. Most of the Questions are from Engineering Drawing.
