What is the age criteria for SSC CGL 2020-21?

SSC CGL Eligibility criteria: Can students in their final year of graduation apply for SSC CGL 2020?

The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for SSC CGL 2020, however, they must possess the SSC CGL 2020 Essential qualifications on or before 01-01-2021.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria: What are the SSC CGL 2020 educational qualifications for each post in SSC CGL 2020 exam?

The SSC CGL 2020 educational qualifications for all the posts are given in the below table. Candidates should make sure that they possess all the minimum SSC CGL 2020 educational qualifications to be eligible for SSC CGL 2019.

Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University
OR
Desirable Qualification: CA or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Junior Statistical Officer Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute
with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at
degree level.
All Other Posts Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent

What is the selection process for SSC CGL 2020?
The selection process for SSC CGL 2020-21  includes 4 stages:

Tier-II Objective Multiple Choice Computer-Based (online)
Tier-III Descriptive Paper in English/Hindi Pen and Paper mode
Tier-IV Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test Wherever Applicable
  • Based on the marks scored in Tier-I i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations.
  • Tier-II and Tier-III Examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I. In Tier-II, all the candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I and Paper-II. However, only specific candidates shortlisted for the posts of JSO/ Statistical Investigator and Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer will be required to appear in Paper-III and Paper-IV respectively.
  • Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2020. These normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

What is the application fee for SSC CGL 2020-21?

  • Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), ESM eligible for reservation, and Persons with disability (PwD) are exempted from payment of the fee.
  • Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay  Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
  • Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 02-02-2021 (23:30 hours)

How will the final merit prepared for the selection in SSC CGL 2020-21?
