Mother’s Day 2023, A Tribute To All Mothers

Mother’s Day 2023

Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May. Although we must respect our mother throughout the year, Mother’s Day is marked to honor her influence on the family.  Mother’s Day 2023 falls on Sunday, May 14th, and is a day to celebrate the incredible role that mothers play in the lives of their children and families. A mother makes a lot of sacrifices in life to keep her children safe. Mother’s Day is a way to tell your mother how much she means to you. A woman plays many roles in her life starting from a doting daughter loved and pampered by her parents and a caring sister to her siblings. Then later on from a career-oriented hardworking professional to a loving and devotional wife. But out of all a woman’s roles, one is the most divine, the selfless and lifelong role of a caring and loving Mother.

Mother’s Day 2023: History

Mother’s Day is a special day set aside to appreciate mothers across the world. Modern Mother’s Day began in the United States and was initiated by Anna Jarvis in the early 20th century after her mother died. She wanted to honor her mother by continuing to work on public health issues. She believed a mother is “the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world”. Thus, after her efforts of declaring Mother’s Day a holiday, the US declared the same by 1911. We salute all the mothers for their hard work and contribution throughout their life.
Mothers are often referred to as the backbone of the family. They are the ones who work tirelessly to make sure that their children are well taken care of, fed, clothed, and loved. Mothers are also the ones who offer emotional support and are always there to listen when their children need someone to talk to. The role of a mother is not an easy one, but it is one that is filled with immense joy and fulfillment.
We salute all the adoring Mothers of this world and on this Mother’s Day, we pay a small tribute to some of the great mothers, who were not only dedicated parents but also an inspiration to everyone.
