Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission education qualification for the posts included in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination: The candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognized University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application.

UPPSC Notification 2023: Age Limit
For appearing for UPPSC 2023 exam Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years.

- Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
- It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of Preliminary Examination.
- The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.
UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has revised the UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern 2023. Two Optional Papers have been removed from the UPPSC PCS Mains Exam. The commission has introduced two new general studies papers in place of the two optional papers.
