How Many Candidates Applied for RRB Group D?, Check Official Notice

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the updated number of applications received for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 under CEN No. 08/2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 vacancies in various Level 1 posts across Indian Railways. According to the revised notice dated 29 April 2025, a total of 1,08,22,423 applications have been submitted from candidates across various regions in India. The community-wise data includes applicants from:

• Unreserved (UR)
• Scheduled Castes (SC)
• Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• Other Backward Classes (OBC)
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

Apart from general candidates, applications from Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) have also been recorded. This data ensures that the recruitment process remains inclusive and in line with government guidelines.

• Ex-Servicemen: 35,979 applications
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 94,912 applications
