Staff Selection Commission has announced the exam date of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, 2020 with the calendar. It is a good piece of information in the time of crises. The new dates for the SSC JHT exam are announced with the notification, the SSC JHT online application was active between 29th June 2020 and 25th July 2020. The SSC JHT New Exam Date has been released by the SSC. The Exam will now be held on 19 November 2020.  A total of 283 vacancies has been notified by the commission. 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2021 i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2003 are eligible to apply.

NoteAge-relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit-

  • OBC: 3 years

SSC JHT Recruitment 2020: Educational Qualifications (As on 01-01-2021)

(a) FOR POSTCODES ‘A’ to ‘D’

Master‟s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of

Candidates must appear for Paper 1 and get qualified for the next stage i.e. Paper 2 examination. Those qualifying paper 2 will be called for the document verification and appointment based on merit.

  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), Persons with disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
