Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the SSC Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, And Quantity Surveying & Contract) Tier-I Examination from 27th October 2020 to 31st October 2020. For candidates from Bihar, the SSC JE examination was conducted on 11th December 2020. The candidate’s Response Sheets along with the tentative Answer Keys are now available on the link given below. Representation in respect of the tentative answer keys, if any, may be submitted online from 27th December 2020  to 31st December 2020 on payment of Rs.100/- per question/answer challenged. Representations received after 06.00 PM on 31st December 2020 will not be entertained under any circumstances.

  1. Visit the official link to check the SSC JE Answer key given above.
  2. You will be redirected to the answer key page.
  3. Log in to the portal with your user id and password.
  4. Click on submit and your answer key is displayed on the screen.
  5. Match your answers and make sure there are no discrepancies.
  6. Calculate your total score.

How to challenge and submit representations in the answer key?

  1. Log in to the portal with your user id and password.
  2. Your answer key is displayed on the screen.
  3. Click on “Challenges” given on the top right corner of the answer key.
  4. Pay the required fee i.e. Rs 100 to challenge the questions.
  5. Mention the question id you want to challenge along with the right answer.
  6. Give an explanation of your challenge in the given box.
  7. Click on “Submit”

How to calculate the total score in SSC JE Tier 1 Answer key? 

  • The SSC JE answer key 2019 displayed on the screen shows the correct answer along with the option marked by the candidate.
  • Note down the number of correct answers and incorrect answers.
  • Multiply the correct answers by 1 and calculate the marks.
  • Multiply the incorrect answers by 0.25 and calculate your negative marks.
  • Subtract the total negative marks from the total positive score. The formula to calculate the total score is as follows:

(No of Correct Questions x 1) – (No of incorrect questions x 0.25) = Total Marks
