I am Vikas Kumar. I am a resident of the Madhubani district, Bihar. The financial condition of the family was not too good which made me start my career as a teacher at a Saraswati Vidya Mandir at a very early age i.e after my intermediate. I was offered a salary of just Rs.50 per day. Then I started working on the English language so that I get to earn a handsome amount by teaching the children of the CBSE Board.

My SSC CGL Journey started in 2018,I appeared for the very first attempt of SSC CGL 2018 after completing my graduation, I scored very low in prelims and appeared in the mains too, but was unsuccessful to make it to the final list. But I did not lose hope and appeared for the SSC CGL Exam next year with all the preparation and successfully cleared the exam too. Then I served as Central Excise Inspector in Nasik for a tenure of 3 months. Then I appeared for SSC CGL 2020 and scored good marks in mathematics, although my English score was average the mock tests that I solved before appearing for the exam helped me score decent marks in mathematics and secure AIR- 160 and I’m now appointed as Assistant Section Officer in MEA.

I advise the applicants to keep themselves positive and motivated all through the journey. Keep yourself away from all the distractions such as social media or anything that comes in your way to your success. Review the syllabus thoroughly, keep solving mock papers, and just believe in yourself. Set your goal and your hard work will definitely pay off.
