SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Vacancy

Through SECR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Notification, South East Central Railway has announced a total of 733 vacancies. Candidates can check the post-wise vacancies below.

These vacancies are released in various trade categories such as Carpenter, COPA, Draftsman (Civil), Electrician, Elect (Mech), Fitter,/machinist, Painter, Mech (RAC), SMW, Steno (Hindi), Steno (English), Diesel Mechanic, Turner, Welder, Wireman, Chemical Laboratory Assistant and Digital Photographer.

SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for any recruitment process candidates must go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the notification. Candidates must satisfy the age and educational qualification criteria which is mentioned here.

Educational Qualification

Before applying to the SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024, the candidates should ensure that they possess the required educational qualifications as mentioned in the official notification. The qualifications required for Apprentice Recruitment are very basic and are relevant to the trade they are applying for. The candidate interested in the recruitment process must have:

• Passed 10th Class examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent, ITI (Relevant Trades)

Age Limit

The reason for this is no application fees are charged to the candidates to apply for the SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024.

SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The Selection for SECR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will be done based on a merit list prepared (Trade-wise) in respect of all the candidates who apply for the recruitment in respective trades. The merit list in each trade will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks.

• The selected candidates will be called for the Document Verifications stage of the selection process. This stage also includes a Medical Examination for which the medical certificate should be signed by a Government Authorized Doctor (Gaz) who is not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon in a Central/State hospital.
• It should be noted that as the lower age limit for the SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is 15 years, it might be possible that the selected candidate is a minor. In that case, the official notification states that “The Selected candidate or, if he is minor, his guardian has be enter into a contract of apprenticeship with the employer.”

SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Stipend

The candidates appointed as the Trade Apprentice under SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will undergo training for 1 year for each trade. They will get a stipend during the training period as per the rules of the State Government of Chhattisgarh.

SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Contract

The appointment in the SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024 is contractual in nature and requires the selected candidate to enter into a contract with the employer. The official notification also provides the contact details in case the selected candidate is a minor i.e. below 18 years of age.
