RPSC RAS Syllabus 2023: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the RPSC RAS Syllabus 2023 for the RPSC RAS Recruitment 2023. The RPSC RAS exam is conducted annually to recruit candidates for various posts in the Rajasthan government. The exam is conducted in two stages: Preliminary and Main.

The RPSC RAS 2023 Prelims Exam is going to be held on 01st October 2023 and the RPSC RAS 2023 Prelims Admit Card will be released on 28th September 2023 on the official website of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) @www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates who are preparing for the RPSC RAS Recruitment 2023 should start by reading the RPSC RAS Syllabus 2023 carefully. RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2023: For Prelims

A preliminary exam is a screening test and only a limited number of candidates will be called for Mains Exam.

  •  The questions in the RPSC RAS Prelims Exam will be Multiple-choice questions of 200 marks.
  • The difficulty level will be of graduation level.
  • The RPSC RAS Prelims Exam will consist of only one paper- General Knowledge.
  • The candidates qualifying for Prelims will be issued with admit card for the RPSC Mains Exam.
  • The marks scores in the prelims exam will not be counted in the merit list as this is the screening stage for selecting candidates for the Mains Exam.
  • (1/3rd of marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer)

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2023: For Mains

The candidates who qualify prelims exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The number of candidates will be based on 15 times the number of total vacancies

  • The Mains exam will be a descriptive type paper.
  • There will be 4 papers and all papers are compulsory to be attempted.
  • The difficulty level of GS Papers will be of graduation level. However, the difficulty level of General English and General Hindi will be of a higher secondary level.
  • The marks obtained in the Mains Exam will be counted in preparing the merit list.
  • There will be 2 Short Questions, 5 Medium Questions, and 10 Long Questions.
  • (1/3rd of marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer)

RPSC RAS Interview 2023

The RPSC RAS Interview is the final stage of the RPSC RAS 2023 selection process. It is a personality test that assesses the candidate’s attitude, mental and physical fitness, and overall suitability for administrative service.

The RPSC RAS Interview carries 100 marks. Candidates who successfully clear the Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages will be selected for the RPSC RAS.
