Application Fees for HPPSC HPAS 2024 Exam
Candidates must submit a nominal application fee to appear in the HPPSC HPAS 2024 Exam. The maximum application fee is Rs. 600/-. Female candidates and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh are exempted from paying the application fee. Check the notification for application fees for certain categories.

HPPSC HPAS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2024, candidates must make sure that they are eligible for the above-mentioned posts. Upon non-fulfilment of any of the eligibility criteria, candidates can be disqualified at any stage of the HPAS 2024 Examination. Educational Qualification
Candidates interested in this recruitment process must satisfy the following educational criteria:
- A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- Candidate should know the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment to the specific conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit
The minimum age required to appear in the HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2024 is 21 years. The maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years as of 1st January 2024.

HPPSC HPAS 2024 Selection Process
The HPPSC HPAS Recruitment will be conducted in three stages viz. Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and a Personality Test. Candidates must qualify in each stage to appear for the next stage of recruitment and get final selection. Details regarding the selection process of HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2024 are given below:
- Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination will consist of two objective-type papers (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects of General Studies and Aptitude Tests.
- Mains Examination: The main examination shall include compulsory subjects and one optional subject.
- Personality Test: The Personality Test is intended to judge the mental calibre of candidates. The candidates qualifying the earlier two stages.
HPPSC HPAS Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
The preliminary exam for HPPSC HPAS will consist of two objective-type papers (multiple-choice questions). These will include the subjects of General Studies and Aptitude Tests. The Aptitude Test will have a qualifying criteria of 33%, whereas GS Paper I marks will decide the merit list to qualify 20 times the vacancies. There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for both papers. Check the detailed exam pattern below:
