BSSC Combined Competitive Selection process
The selection process for BSSC consists of 2 stages followed by Physical test or DV as per the post applied for:
- Preliminary examination
- Mains examination

The preliminary exam of BSSC constituted 3 subjects namely General Studies, General Science & Mathematics and Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability.

- Written Exam will be MCQ Type.
- Each Question of 04 Marks.
- Duration of Test is 02 hrs 15 min (135 Minutes).
- The question paper will be bilingual.
- 1 mark shall be deducted for every wrong Answer.
BSSC Combined Competitive Mains Examination Pattern
The mains examination will consist of 2 papers containing multiple-choice questions. Paper 1 will be qualifying in nature. Paper 2 of candidates scoring more than 30% marks in Paper 1 will be evaluated. 1 mark for every wrong answer will be deducted.
