Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has released the official notification for the UP Preliminary Examination Test (PET) 2021 on the official website i.e. upsssc.gov.in..The online registration has already begun from 25th May 2021. The candidates who r interested can register themselves till 21st June 2021. Commission has published the Advt No. on 01/exam/2021 on the official website on 25th May 2021. The commission has released the official upsssc pet exam dates notification for releasing some important points for the candidates to get detailed information while filling the application form.
Some important details regarding the UPSSSC PET 2021 Online Application:
The candidates have to apply online from the official website of Uttar Pradesh i.e.upsssc.gov.in/. Candidates need to apply online only. There is no other mode of application. The last date to apply is 21st June 2021.
2. One Time Registration is Not Necessary
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification on 26th March 2021 for the candidates who want to apply in the future for UPSSSC PET. The One Time Registration was made compulsory for the candidates to apply for the UP State exams. But the Commission has issued in the notice that OTR is not necessary. The candidates who failed to register themselves in OTR can now apply for the UPSSSC PET 2021.
3. Necessity of UPSSSC PET
According to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) the candidates have to appear for the Preliminary Eligiblity Test exam to apply for the various exams conducting under UPSSSC. This is important for the candidates to clear PET to appear for other examination in Uttar Pradesh. To apply for the mains examinations the candidates will be shortlisted according to their PET Scores. Hence, if in any case, anyone who has not appeared in the PET will not be able to attempt any of the exams conducted by the Commission.
4. Vacancy Distribution
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (UPSSSC) conducts Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) for the recruitment of group ‘C’ and ‘B’ posts. Through this PET Exam, the UPSSSC shortlists candidates for upcoming Group ‘B & C main examinations, which are to be conducted later. The candidates qualifying PET will be eligible to apply for Group B & C vacancies with grade pay more than Rs. 1900 (Pay band Rs. 5200- 20200) and less than Rs. 4600 (Pay Band- Rs. 9300- 34800). The Group C posts that would refer to the PET Scores for the final selection of the candidates are UP Assistant Statistical Officer, UP Lekhpal, UP Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Officer, Lab Technician, Health Officier (Female), etc.
5. Educational Qualification
The candidate should have passed their High School (10th) or Intermediate (12th) from a recognized school to be eligible for appearing for the Preliminary Eligibility Test.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- The age relaxation will be according to the rules.
7. Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The detailed exam pattern and syllabus have been already updated on the official website on 20th February 2021. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The test will be of 02 hours duration, i.e. 120 minutes. The candidates must visit the website or can simply go through the below link for the detailed exam pattern and syllabus.
8. Date of examination
The date of the written examination will be shortly released on the official website. Candidates must tune in to this page to get notified about the exam dates.
The Score of PET will be valid for one year from the declaration of results on the official website of UPSSSC. The marks scored by the candidates in PET will be valid for one year after the declaration of the result. Candidates will be called for the mains examination of various vacancies based on PET.
Candidates from other states can also apply for the UPSSSC PET 2021. The interested candidates should register themselves before the last date i.e. 21st June 2021.
