The total number of vacancies released by the Commission for the recruitment of 25271 constables both male and females. SSC GD 2021

This will be a great opportunity for the candidates preparing for various exams under SSC. SSC GD is one of the most awaited exams for aspirants. SSC will shortly release the recruitment notification for GD.SSC is going to announce a huge number of vacancies through this recruitment process. The expected number of vacancies is 40.000 to 50,000. The candidates recruited will be offered a salary of Rs. 24387 at the time of training and Rs. 47540 at the time of service with additional perks and allowances also.

SSC GD 2021 Application Fee

A candidate must pay an SSC GD Exam application fee of Rs. 100/. Women & candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from paying the online application fee. Candidates can pay fees either online through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or through offline mode by generating a challan for the same.

SSC GD 2021 Exam Pattern

The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in the Physical Test, Written Test, Medical Fitness Test. The final list will be prepared according to the performance in the SSC GD written exam.

SSC GD 2021 Written Test

The written exam is for 100 marks. The time of 90 minutes is given to the candidates. There will be four sections In SSC GD 2021 Written Test- GK, Reasoning, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.

Criteria for PET Test 2021

Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:-

Male Female
5 km in 24 min 1.6 km in 8½ min For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh region
1.6 km in 6½ min 800 m in 4 min For candidates of Ladakh region

Height:-
Male-> 170 cm
Female-> 157 cm

SSC GD Syllabus 2021

SSC GD Constable Paper comprises four Sections/Subjects that are mentioned below:

SSC GD Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who appear for the SSC Constable (GD) 2021 exam are required to check the SSC GD eligibility criteria prior to filling up the Application Form. There are certain SSC GD requirements that a candidate has to fulfill before applying for SSC GD Post.

Age Criteria

The age of the applicant must not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 23 years as on the last date to fill the application form.

Age Relaxation:

The relaxation in Age Limit will also be given to the candidates of backward categories as per according to government rules and regulations which is 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and 5 years for the applicants of SC/ST Categories.

SSC GD Educational Qualification Required

To be eligible for the SSC GD recruitment, candidates must hold the matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board/ University before applying for the GD post.
