SSC GD Physical Test 2024, Constable, PET and PST Details

The SSC GD Physical Test is going to be conducted soon. SSC GD CBT Results are announced along with the release of the SSC GD Final Answer Key and SSC GD Cut off 2024 on the official website. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination (ME).

These stages will be conducted at various centers decided by the CAPFs. Candidates who have cleared the CBT should start preparing for PST, PET, and Medical Examination by knowing the criteria first.

SSC GD Physical Test 2024: Overview

The SSC GD Physical Test 2024 will be conducted to finalize the recruitment of 46,617 candidates to the post of GD Constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Check the overview of the SSC GD Physical Test below.

SSC GD Physical Test Date 2024

The SSC GD Physical Test 2024 will be conducted by the CAPFs as the SSC has finalized the CBT results. CAPFs will announce the exact SSC GD Physical Test Dates. The SSC GD PST/PET  Dates will be issued by the Nodal CAPF i.e., CRPF on their official portal i.e. https://rect.crpf.gov.in. These are likely to fall between August and September 2024. Candidates have some time to prepare for the PET, PST, and medical examination until then. Candidates who have cleared the CBT should prepare well for the next stage without further ado.

SSC GD Recruitment Process

The SSC GD recruitment process includes a computer-based test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination. As the first stage i.e. CBT results are declared, candidates will be called for PST, PET, and Medical Examination by the relevant CAPFs. Candidates must qualify in each stage to get the final selection in SSC GD 2024.

• Male: 170 cm
• Female: 157 cms

Chest

Chest measurements in the SSC GD Physical Standard Test (PST) will only apply to Male candidates. The measurement criteria are as follows:

• Un-expanded: 80 cms
• Minimum expansion: 5 cm

Weight

The SSC GD Physical Standards for weight must be proportionate to the height of candidates as per the regular medical standards.

SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test, PET

The SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is carried out through a race. Male and Female candidates from different regions have different time limits and distance criteria for the race.
