SSC CHSL Selection Process 2022
SSC will select candidates for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) through the selection process of SSC CHSL 2022. The candidates qualifying the Tier I will be eligible for Tier II and qualifying Tier II will be for Tier III. SSC CHSL Selection Process 2022: Tier I Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier 1 is the first step towards success where candidates will be appearing for 100 questions competing against lakhs of candidates. This is the common test for all the posts and is very important for the further selection steps to move. It is a computer-based test with 200 marks and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is a negative marking in SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam. Giving a wrong answer to a question will lead to a penalty of 0.5 marks in all sections. The exam duration is 80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped and for general candidates, it is 60 minutes.

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2022: Tier II Exam Pattern
The candidates who qualify for Tier I will be eligible for Tier II. The selection process of SSC CHSL Tier-II consists of a descriptive paper in Pen and Paper Mode. Paper-II contains a writing essay of 200-250 words and a Letter/ Application of approximately 150-200 words. The Tier II exam is of maximum marks 100 for 1 hour. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-2 is 33% and the marks scored in Tier II are considered for preparing the final merit list. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier 2 would be 33 percent. The performance in Tier 2 would be included in preparing the final merit. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2022: Tier III Exam Pattern
Tier-III of SSC CHSL 2021-22 will be a Skill/ Typing Test which would be of qualifying nature. The final merit of the selected candidates will be based on the basis of the total score obtained in Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier III will vary according to the post applied by the candidates. Tier III Skill/Typing Test is used to test the practical knowledge of the candidates.
