Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board has released the official notification for the recruitment of ASRB NET it is also known as ICAR NET. The board conducts the exam for the recruitment of Lecturers / Assistant Professors in State Agricultural Universities and other Agricultural Universities. This exam is qualifying in nature, it enables applicants to apply against the vacancies released by different agricultural universities. ASRB conducts the exam once a year. It is a national-level examination conducted online for 2 hours in English and Hindi.
ASRB NET 2021 has released the notification on 30th March 2021 on the official website. The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has released a combined notification for National Eligibility Test, The board will conduct a combined examination for NET-2021, ARS-2021 (Preliminary), and Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T6) Examination. ASRB NET Eligibility Criteria 2021
These are the basic eligibility criteria to apply for ASRB NET 2021:
Educational qualification
A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the respective Discipline and specialization completed on or before 19.09.2021 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament.
Age
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as of 01.01.2021. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.

Number of attempts doesn’t matter for ASRB NET.

ASRB NET Exam Pattern 2021
- There will one paper of 150 marks with 150 questions each question carrying one mark.
- The questions will be objective-type multiple-choice in nature.
- The exam duration will be of 2 hours.
- The 150 questions shall be derived from the respective discipline in which the candidate has opted to appear.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 marks per the wrong answer.
- The standard of the paper will be that of a Master’s degree from an Indian University in the relevant Discipline.
- The Examination will be conducted online.
- The questions in the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium.
