Who Can Apply for SSC CHSL 2024?

The SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria include the following factors: age, educational qualification, and nationality.

  • The aspiring candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions on or before the crucial date, 01 August 2024.
  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 18 years.
  • Candidate must not exceed the maximum age of 27 years unless he/she belongs to a reserved category having the provision of age relaxation.
  • Educational Qualification: LDC/JSA/DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’  candidates must have passed the 12th standard on or before the crucial date. The notification mentions that DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ in C&AG, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Ministry of Culture require candidates from the Science stream with Mathematics.
  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens or Nepal or Bhutan’s subjects. Persons of Indian origin from certain countries intending to settle in India can also apply.

What is the SSC CHSL Exam Date 2024?

Staff Selection Commission has scheduled the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2024 on 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 08, 09, 10, 11 and 12 July 2024 in multiple shifts. The information regarding the shifts of exams will be notified by the officials with the release of admit card for the same. The examination is held in two tiers. Both these stages will be conducted in online CBT mode as per the latest pattern. Candidates qualifying for Tier 1 will be eligible for the next stage i.e. Tier 2.

When can I apply online for SSC CHSL 2024?

The online application process for SSC CHSL 2024 has been inactive from 07 May 2024. The candidates who have registered will be considered final with eligibility i.e. educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality. There is no extension of the application deadlines,  Candidates registered can make changes or correct their mistakes from 10th May to 11 May 2024 till 11 pm from the official website.

SSC CHSL Application Fee

The application fee for all SSC exams is nominal. Candidates have to pay Rs. 100 to complete their application form. It can be submitted online using UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. The fees can also be submitted offline at SBI Branches by generating an offline SBI Challan.

Note: Females, SC, ST,  PWD, and ExSM are exempted from paying the application fee.

Application Process for SSC CHSL 2024

The SSC CHSL Application Process involves two stages:

I. One-Time Registration: Candidates must submit their One-Time Registration Form on the new website of SSC i.e. ssc.gov.in. This is a one-time process application for all exams in 2024 and later. If you have already completed the OTR form on the new website, you can log in to proceed to the online application for SSC CHSL 2024.

II. Online Application: The online application form becomes relatively simple after the OTR. All important details are fetched from the OTR. Candidates now only need to verify their details, enter some more details asked, take a live photograph, and submit the form along with the application fee, if applicable.
