World Veterinary Day History
The history of World Veterinary Day traces back to 1959 when the World Veterinary Association was formed. The mission of the Association was to focus on animal health and welfare, and the environment and public health. In 2001, the World Veterinary Association declared that there will be a World Veterinary Day to be celebrated on the last Saturday of April. The aim is to promote the veterinary profession and the health of animals.
What does a Veterinary do?
A Veterinary is responsible for taking care of the health of the animals. Their main job is to take care of the animals who are sick. Animals can’t speak as humans do so it can be a difficult task to find the problem and then treat them. The health of the animals and humans concerned with them must not be compromised.
