Uttar Pradesh has released the Official Notification for the UP SI 2021 in February 2021. This exam is conducted after 5 long years, as the last exam was conducted in 2016. The candidates who dreamt to serve in the Uttar Pradesh Police didn’t get any chance from 2017 till 2021. The candidates were demanding the age relaxation to the Uttar Pradesh government so that they can apply for the upcoming recruitment process. Allahabad High Court has questioned Uttar Pradesh State Government about the age relaxation. The candidates who don’t fulfill the age criteria as the exam was not conducted in between, need age relaxation in 2021 recruitment. So that they can get the last chance to appear for the examination.
The official notification for UP SI Recruitment 2021 has been released by UPPBPB on uppbpb.gov.in on 25th February 2021 and announced vacancies for 9534 posts of “Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander, and Fire Officer”. As the age criteria mentioned in the notification was Maximum of 28 years, due to this many candidates are not eligible to apply for the recruitment.

From our sources, we got the latest update on the UP SI Age Relaxation 2021,
- the candidates who were overage till 1st July 2018 can now fill the UP SI Recruitment application as they got an age relaxation of 3 threes years.
- This will be applicable only for the petitioners who petitioned in the Allahabad High Court.
- For other candidates, the board will decide about further proceedings.
The board will soon notify about this age relaxation update on the official website of UP SI Recruitment 2021.
