National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the UGC NET admit card on its official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC NET exam is scheduled to be held from 16th September 2020 to 25th September 2020. University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts the NET exam for selecting Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges. Candidates can download the UGC NET admit card 2020 by entering their roll number or registration number. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centre without which candidates would not be allowed to sit for the exam.

How to download UGC NET Admit Card 2020?

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link to Download Admit Card given on the home page.
Step 3: Enter your details such as Application number, Date of birth and Captcha as shown on the screen.
Step 4: Click on Login to view admit card.
Step 5: Your admit card will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and print the admit card.

UGC NET exam pattern

UGC NET consists of 2 papers to be completed in 3 hours. Out of 3 hours, paper-I will be given one hour to complete and paper-II needs to be completed in two hours duration.

Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination hall to appear for the exam:

• Print out of the Admit Card
• One or two passport-sized photographs (same as the one uploaded on the Online Application Form)
• PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category (If required).
• Any one of the authorized photo IDs i.e. – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
