TNPSC  Group 1 2020-21: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is a government organization of Tamil Nadu state which is responsible for governing the recruitment of candidates in the state’s public service. Every year Tamil Nadu government declares the number of vacancies for various posts to serve public services. The exam will be on 3rd January 2021. It was earlier scheduled on 5th April 2020 but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is delayed. The candidates who will qualify for the prelims will appear for the mains and then the interview. TNPSC is conducting the exam for the recruitment of 69 vacancies in various departments of Tamil Nadu i.e. Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services, Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Service, Tamil Nadu Co-operative Service, Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Service, and Tamil Nadu Civil Service. The TNPSC Group 1 Exam is conducted in 3 steps/;

  1. Prelims
  2. Mains
  3. Interview

TNPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern:

The TNPSC Group-1 Prelims Exam will be of 3 hours duration, contains 200 multiple choice questions with a total of 300 marks. Out of those, 150 questions will be from General Knowledge and the remaining 50 questions will be from the aptitude & Mental ability test.

Last-Minute Tips for TNPSC Group 1:

Since the exam is near so here is the time for some last, minute tips to brush up on your knowledge and here we are with some last minutes tips which can help you to crack the exam. The TNPSC  Group 1 exam is on 3rd January 2021.

  • Revise: Before the exam, it is important to revise a=everything you have learned till now. It is the time to recall all the notes, and this will give your preparation a finishing touch.
  • Time Management: This is very important to manage time while solving the test papers. The exam contains 200 questions for 3 hours. To reach all the questions from start to end the reading skill of candidates should be strong as well.
  • Mock Test: Mock Test plays important role in clearing any examination. It helps the candidate to adapt to the exam like environment and get used to solving papers. It boosts the candidate’s confidence and makes them familiar with the exam atmosphere. Solve as much as the mock test you can.

  • COVID -19 Precautions: The candidates are required to use face masks, hand sanitizers, and also follow social distancing while appearing for an exam.
  • Water Bottle: This is important to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and activate your brain before the exam. During this pandemic time, candidates must bring their transparent water bottle along with them.
  • Relax and don’t take stress: Candidates must not take stress on the exam day. they should stay calm and relax so as to focus more on the test paper. Your relaxed and calm mind will help to focus and score more. Don’t get panic.
