  3. (X+1/X)^3 = X^3 +1/X^3 + 3*X*1/X *(X+1/X)
    (X+1/X)^3 = 110 +3(X+1/X)
    now let X+1/X = Y
    the Y^3 = 110 +3*Y
    Y^3 -3*Y -110 =0
if we put Y=5 then it will satisfy the eqn
means Y=5 is the one root of given eqn
    Y =5
    X+1/X =5

  4. yeah dude i did it as it is.
but ek bache ko smjhana hai woh bolra hain mujhe ni pta hit and trail aapka.
    seedhe tarike se smajao.
is there any other simple method?

  5. tell him….
jab hamare pass cubic eqn hota hai to 1st root ko find karne ke liye hum hit & trail method ka he use karte hai..
    for exam put X=-2 ,-1 0 ,1,2 etc
other two roots ko find krne ke liye quadratic eqn ka use

  6. Yup heavily busy in one or more of the things……not like that just joking.
    Don't worry, il come back soon…… 🙂
Take care and see you soon @Kumar 🙂

  7. Guys……, could anyone plz tell me what ll be the expected cut off of Fci exam 2015 for general category.

  8. galti ho gyi bhai mujhe lga wo bol rha hai ki aise questions ssc mein aa sakte hai kya

  9. its other roots will be imaginary ….
    Y^3 -3*Y -110 =0
    (Y-5)Y^2 +5Y^2 -3Y -110=0
    (Y-5)Y^2 +5(Y-5)Y +25Y -3Y -110=0
    (Y-5)Y^2 +5(Y-5)Y +22Y -110=0
    (Y-5)Y^2 +5(Y-5)Y +22(Y -5)=0
    (Y-5)(Y^2 +5Y + 22)=0
    Y-5=0 , Y=5
    Y^2 +5Y + 22 =0

    here b=5 , a=1 , c=22
    Discriminant D< 0
    as b^2 -4ac <0
therefore it other two roots will be
    imaginary…..

  10. Smita …..same ssc cgl pattern he hota hai fci mein….only the thing is earlier it was conducted by ssc but now it is conducted by Fci itself..
