SSC To Announce New Exam Dates After 3rd May; Check Details

Staff Selection Commission will decide the examination dates for the remaining exams after May 3, 2020, when the lockdown is lifted. In a special meeting conducted by the Commission, it was decided that the decision on fresh dates for the remaining examinations will be taken after May 3, in view of the prevailing lockdown restrictions due to coronavirus, including social distancing norms, the commission has decided that dates for all interviews and examinations will be reviewed from time to time.

List Of Government Exams Postponed Due To Coronavirus

New exam dates will be decided for CHSL (Tier-I) 2019, Junior Engineer (Paper-I) Examination, 2019, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2019 and Skill Test for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2018.

The rescheduled dates of these examinations will be notified by the Commission on the official site of SSC or on its Regional / Sub-Regional Offices. Besides, the annual calendar of the examination will also be reviewed by the Commission and notified later.

New Guidelines Issued by the Central Government for Lockdown 2.0

The SSC further said, the meeting also decided that all officers and staff members of the SSC would contribute one day’s salary to the PM’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM CARES Fund).
