Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC MTS Result 2019. SSC MTS Tier 1 Result has been updated on the official website of SSC. Candidates who all are waiting for the result of tier 1 MTS exam 2019 can now download the result from the link given below. SSC has conducted the Tier 1 Exam from 2nd August to 22nd August 2019. The candidates qualified in the Paper I result will appear for the next stage i.e. Paper-II scheduled to be held on 24th November 2019.  Check the SSC MTS Result and SSC MTS cut off for Paper I given below. SSC MTS Exam Pattern for Tier 2

Short Essay /Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. 50 30 Minutes

Some important points about the exam:

  • Paper-II will be descriptive. 
  • Timing for Visually handicapped cerebral palsy candidates is 45 Minutes
  • This exam is qualifying in nature.
  • It is intended to test the elementary language skills of the candidates to be suitable for the post.

Will the marks be normalized in SSC MTS Result 2019?

Normalized scores of the candidates will be used to determine merit in Paper-I.

What will be the cut-off criteria for SSC MTS Paper I?

As the vacancies for MTS are in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years, in the final result, there will be separate age group-wise, State/ UT-wise and category-wise cutoffs. For the candidates who are eligible for both the age-groups, vacancies will first be filled in the age-group of 18-25 years.

What are the criteria to be shortlisted for DV in SSC MTS 2019?

Based on the performance in Paper-I and scoring the cut-off marks in Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in the Document Verification to check their eligibility as per the information was given by them in the online Application Form. The eligible candidates whose documents are found in order will be considered for final selection.

What are the criteria for SSC MTS final selection?

Final selection and allocation of States/ UTs will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in Paper-I, the preference of States/ UTs given by them in the online Application Form and the age-group of the candidates.

For how many vacancies will I be considered in SSC MTS 2019?

The candidates will only be considered against the vacancies of States/ UTs for which they have given their preference in the online Application Form.

What is the process for the allotment to various departments?

Further allocation of Ministries/ Department/ Offices in the allocated States/ UTs will be made by the Regional/ SubRegional Offices of the Commission by using the standard methodology.

Is proficiency in the language required in SSC MTS 2019?

Candidates on final selection may be required to acquire the proficiency in the local language of the allotted State/ UT for confirmation of the candidates to the allotted posts by the concerned User Ministry/ Department/ Office.

Can you change the preference of states later?

Preference of States/ UTs exercised by the candidates in the online Application Form will be treated as final and no change in the preference of States/ UTs will be allowed later under any circumstances.
