SSC CHSL Tier-I 2016 Exam Analysis : 30th January(1st shift)

Here we bring you the exam analysis of 30th January SSC CHSL Tier-I Online Exam. Students having their SSC CHSL exam in other shift/days can get an accumulated idea of the examination as the pattern this year has some changes. 



SSC CHSL examination for the first time is being conducted online. There are four sections in SSC CHSL Examination namely: Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, General Awareness and English Language.

Quantitative Aptitude (Easy to Moderate)
A large part of the paper was from Arithmetic section.There were 3 DI, each DI contains 1 question. Any candidate with a good grasp on the subject could have scored well in the section.

Q.  In a triangle ABC, D & E are the points on the side of AB & AC respectively and BC is parallel to DE. Given that AD = 8cm, DB = 6cm, DE = 7.2cm. Find out the value of BC?

Q. Find the value of sinθ/(1+cosθ)?

Q. If a number increases by 26 then number increases 113% of number itself. Find out the number?
Q. Value of the cylinder is 2310 cm3 and the perimeter of its base is 44cm. FInd out the lateral surface area of cylinder?

English Language (Easy)

In Vocabulary, there were questions from topics like Synonyms/Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases and spellings correction. In Grammar section, there were questions on Sentence Improvement, Error detection and Sentence Completion.
