SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam Descriptive Essay Writing : Mobile Addiction

The Staff Selection Commission or SSC is one of the leading Govt. Organizations that are responsible for employing the candidates for the service of the nation. Each year over lakhs and lakhs of applications are filed online for the exams conducted by it. SSC CHSL Tier-II is an offline Pen Paper-based exam carrying a weightage of 100 marks with a 1-hour duration. The choice will be there between English Language and Hindi Language. The mobile phone has become an essential aspect of our life, from waking up in the morning till going to bed everything can be left except this small gadget. Smartphone addiction, sometimes colloquially known as “nomophobia” which means fear of being without a mobile phone, is often fueled by an Internet overuse problem or Internet addiction disorder. After all, it’s rarely the phone or tablet itself that creates the compulsion, but rather the games, apps, and online worlds it connects us to.Th0065re is the continuous use of mobile phones now everything has become digital. We are paying digitally, playing digitally, learning digitally, and earning also digitally.

Symptoms of Mobile Addiction: 

The continuous use of anything may lead to addiction to that particular thing. In the case of mobile phones, the symptoms are very common and can be seen in every next human being. Social media plays a vital role in becoming an addiction for the younger generation. Uploading daily posts and checking continuously for the likes and comments on the post is very dangerous. While the phone is not ringing still feeling that it is ringing.If there is no notification still checking the smartphone. Not getting interested in the social gatherings and just bow down the neck and sticking eyes in the 5.5 inches and not having any kind of other activity.

Effects of Mobile Addiction:

This may lead to continuous tiredness in your body. Sleeping late and watching videos, movies, etc. on the mobile phone. Virtual relationships, online compulsion. Mobile Phone addiction can also negatively impact your life by increasing loneliness and depression, fueling anxiety, increasing, stress, disturbing your sleep, and encouraging self-absorption. Can lead to several frauds through online means.


As we ignore it, mobile addiction has become a big problem today. It is hampering our professional lives and is ruining our personal relationships. Mobile phones are doing more harm than good. Those facing mobile addiction problems should try to get rid of it and return to the real world.
