SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2020: Staff Selection Commission will be conducting the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam for the candidates qualified in Tier 1 from 22 June 2020 to 25 June 2020. Over 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the Tier 2 exam for the recruitment of Group B and C posts under various central departments. Tier 2 will comprise of 2 compulsory papers of Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. SSC CGL Tier 2 Important Topics For Quantitative Aptitude
A total of 100 questions are asked from the Quantitative Aptitude section in SSC CGL Tier 2 carrying 2 marks each. Negative marking 0.5 is there. As seen from the distribution of questions provided below, most questions are asked from advance maths.
- More than 10 questions are asked from Geometry, Mensuration and Trigonometry and hence, they must be given more importance.
- Questions from Arithmetic maths are generally lengthy and time-consuming, hence, it needs proper practice.
- The toughest topic seen from previous years is Number System and some topics from arithmetic maths. Make sure your basic concepts from these topics are clear.

- The important topics for the English Language are Error detection, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive voice, Sentence Rearrangement, Direct/ Indirect, Comprehension Passage, Cloze passage in which 20+ questions are asked from each topic.
