Special Defence Forces Recruitment: Fake Advertisement
Candidates are being informed that a recent advertisement notification published by alleged Special Defence Personnel Forum is fake. It claimed to be a special body working for Personnel of Indian Army/ Navy/ Air Force and para-military forces. The notification was published in the employment news for the recruitment of 534 vacancies in various departments under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Furthermore, PIB or Press Information Bureau clarified that no such organization exists under the Ministry and it has termed the advertisement as FAKE. Candidates are advised to beware of such fake advertisement and only rely on official sources.

Clarifications issued by PIB
In this hour when people are dealing with the crisis and struggling to find a job, some unscrupulous elements of the society are taking advantage of people in need of a job. The fake recruitment notification was released on an authentic government website that appeared to be genuine and people believed it. The posts notified include of Intelligence Officers, Welfare Inspector, Grant Executive Officer, Electrician, Plumber, Driver, Security Assistants, LDC, Medical Officer, Barrier Guard, Lab Technician, Fireman, Cook, Safaiwala and Table Boy.
A number of candidates had even started to apply for the vacancy before it was clarified by the PIB. Later on, the Public Divisions even published a series of tweets and released an official statement regarding the publication of fake govt. job recruitment. People rely on Employment News for govt. job recruitment notifications as it is the flagship weekly job journal from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Hence, when the advertisement was published on employment news, people believed it and started applying.
