First of All a very heartily Congratulations toall who qualified SSC CGL 2014- Tier II Examination. Now Further to those
students who have applied for DEST, this post is a full guide through
which you can prepared for DEST. You should start working now, so that
you can achieve your goal.

be allowed compensatory time of 20 minutes in DEST at par with typing test.
candidates who opt for scribes in the written examination will be provided
passage reader at the time of skill test. The Skill Test will be of qualifying
nature.

Would DEST be conducted for only Tax Assistant post ?
If yes then what's for other non interview post, ie Auditor/accountant/etc ?

Do wait for some more time and try to search it once again with accurate information, It may be error of ssc site. ……if you get the same error once again, then You should fill again.

If Tax Assistant post is in your preference and you qualified for non – interview post you have to give DEST .
If you failed in DEST then you will be able to get Auditor etc.

You mean to say that DEST(Typing)
is required for Tax Assistant post only ,,there are some other posts(auditor/accountant/junior accountant/upper division clerk etc) which neither requires Interview nor DEST. Is it?

i scored 398.25 in obc and just qualify for interview i knew i will not get any interview post as its a hard nut to crack in interview 70 number approx ………any way can i hope atleast i will get any tax assistant job for sure or there is a doubt in this also.
