RRB Group D 2018 Result to be Declared Soon

RRB Group D Result 2018-19

Dear aspirants,

Indian Railway Recruitment Board offered a great opportunity in 2018 for the recruitment of various posts in Railway Group D Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.The railway announced recruitment in various regions for 62,907 Vacancies of group D posts. RRB Group D CBT Stage 1 exam was conducted from 17th September 2018 till 17th December 2018. The answer key of the same was released on 11th January 2019 and from then many aspirants were eagerly waiting for the final result to be declared. As there are bumper vacancies, many candidates are expected to be qualified for the next stage.

Railway Group D Result 2018-19 Date

Going by the latest news regarding the same, many sources have revealed that the RRB Group D 2018 result is expected to be announced by next week. Many websites of popular news media like The Indian Express, NDTV India etc have declared that the result date can be announced by 28th February 2019.

RRB officials stated the reason of delay to the large number of candidates who applied for Group D. Quoting to a newspaper Daily, the RRB Official said, “About 1.8 million people applied for the examination. While 1.17 crore candidates participated in this examination. Issuing a result of such a large number of candidates is a big task. We do not want any fault in the result.” Hence, we can hope for a transparent process this time without any faults. RRB Group D Result Details:

The RRB Group D result will be available on all the official websites of RRBs and candidates are advised to start preparing for the next stage without waiting any further. Needless to say, sscadda will keep you updated with the latest updates.

 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:
Male Candidates
Female Candidates
Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

 

Note: The persons with disabilities as specified in Para 11.0 of Recruitment are exempted from appearing for PET. However, after qualifying in the CBT, such candidates will have to pass the medical examination prescribed for Persons with Disabilities.
