Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exam is a state-level civil services recruitment exam. RPSC has released the recruitment notification for RAS on 20th July and the online application will begin from 28th July 2021 till 27th August 2021. The exam is also known as Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam. Every year, several exam notifications are released by RPSC to recruit thousands of eligible candidates into the administrative departments. RPSC RAS Selection Procedure
- Preliminary exam: This is an objective-type screening test of 200 marks. Candidates need to complete the paper in three hours duration.
- Main exam: This is a descriptive-/ analytical-type written test. The test contains four papers of 200 marks each. The time allowed to complete each paper is three hours.
- Personality/ viva-voce exam: Candidates qualifying for the Main exam need to appear for a personality test/ interview. The weightage for the personality test is 100 marks.
RPSC RAS Preliminary Exam Pattern
The RPSC RAS prelims exam is a screening test and it contains objective-type multiple-choice questions. Marks obtained by candidates in the preliminary exam are not counted in the final RPSC RAS exam merit list.
