Radius of sector = Slant height of cone
=√(h^2+r^2 )=√(6^2+8^2 )=√(36+64)
=√100=10 cm

Q4.The perimeter of a rectangle having area equal to 144 cm^2 and sides in the ratio 4 : 9 is

Area of rectangle =l×b
144=4x×9x
x=2
So, Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b) =2(9x+4x)

Distance travelled by A in 15 sec. =(52×15)/60=13 m
Diagonal of field = 13 m
l^2+b^2=169 …………….(i)

from (i) & (ii) —
Area = lb=((l+b)^2-(l^2+b^2 ))/2
lb=60 sq. m.

Q6.The breadth of a rectangle is 25 m. The total cost of putting a grass bed on this field was Rs. 12375, at the rate of Rs. 15 per sq m. What is the length of the rectangular field?

Area of rectangular field =12375/15
= 825 sq. m
