Sol. Let the CP of 1 kg sugar = Rs. 1000
So, C.P of 950 gm sugar = Rs. 950
S.P of 950 gm sugar = Rs. 1000
Profit % = (50/950) × 100
= 5 (5/19)%

S8. Ans.(c)

Sol. sec 5A = cosec (A + 36°)

cosec (90° – 5A) = cosec (A + 36°)

90° – 5A = A + 36°

90° = 6A + 36°

54° = 6A

A = 9°

S15. Ans.(c)
Sol.
We know the bill = wage per person x no. of total employees
Ratio of change in bill = 9 × 14: 7 × 15
= 6: 5
Then, there is decrease in bill.
