PM Narendra Modi Announced 21 Days of Lockdown In India

To save the lives of citizens of India PM Modi announced that the whole country will undergo complete lockdown from 25th March, 2020, 12:00 AM for days.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on 24th March 2020 at 8:00 PM and announced new measures to battle the coronavirus pandemic.

PM Modi announced that the whole country will undergo complete lockdown from 25th March 2020, 12:00 AM for 21 days. To save the lives of citizens of India, PM Modi has announced locked down in India. The lockdown will be effective for 21 days till 14th April 2020.

Prime Minister stated that Coronavirus is increasing at a rapid pace and the only way to deal with the pandemic even as per experts is social distancing for everyone. India may face serious repercussions if the situation is not controlled and all the states must take it seriously.

The virus is contagious as only one person can lead to the infection spreading to 1 lakh people, PM stated. PM urged that patience and discipline in the state of lockdown is much needed and requested all the citizens of the nation to pray and thank all the doctors, nurses police forces, sanitation staff and everyone who is involved in the battle against this virus.

Prime Minister also requested everyone to not believe in fake news and also not share any unauthorized news. He requested people to not to take any medicine without the advice of medical professionals.

Prime Minister announced a medical fund of Rs. 15000 crore to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. All the states and Union Territories have been directed to focus only on healthcare facilities and take strict measures to combat Covid-19.
