Patanjali Ayurved has launched the first Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of COVID-19. The yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali launched the medicines, named “Coronil, Anu Taila and Swasari” were developed based on research and trials on 280 patients across the country, said Patanjali’s founder, Yoga teacher Ramdev. The research on medicine was been jointly conducted by Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar and the National Institute of Medical Science (NIMS), Jaipur. Medicines Launched
The ‘anti-COVID kit’ launched by Patanjali comprises of ayurvedic medicines and herbs to combat and prevent the individual from contracting the deadly coronavirus. Patanjali’s anti-COVID kit includes 3 medicines namely Coronil tablet, Anu Taila and Swasari Vati.
- Coronil
The Coronil anti-COVID tablet that has been launched by Patanjali claims to recover Corona positive patients within a span of 3 to 15 days. On the basis of clinical control trials held at NIMS University, Jaipur, all the corona positive patients transformed into negative ones without observing any mortality

- Anu Taila
The Anu Taila is a herbal oil that can be applied to the head, neck, shoulders, eyes, nose, ear, skin, throat and hair to help provide immediate relief from pains and symptoms at the area of application. It also helps in improving the working of the sensory organs.
- Swasari Vati
The Swasari Vati contains more than 100 active compounds, phytochemicals and phytometabolites that provides immediate relief from respiratory problems such as cough, cold and phlegm accumulated in the chest. It also helps heal and nourish the respiratory tract.

Ingredients
According to Acharya Balkrishna the ayurvedic elements used in the medicine includes Ashwagandha, Giloy, and Tulsi are used in the tablet. “There are more than 100 compounds used in the Coronil,” he added. An entire kit is being made for that which consists of other Ayurvedic medicine as well which helps in immunity.
The ayurvedic ingredients help in boosting internal immunity and fight other symptoms including fever, cold and cough.
Price
The Corona kit will be made available at just Rs 545. Acharya Balkrishna, chief executive officer of Patanjali, adding that the kit is for 30 days. The medicines will be given for free to people who are living below the poverty line.
Dosage
As per the prescription prescribed by Patanjali, 2-2 tablets should be consumed with hot water 30 mins after meals. The aforementioned drug intake and quantity is suitable for the people between the age of 15 to 80 years. For children between the age of 6 to 14 half the amount of the above-mentioned medicines can be used.
