What is NWDA?
NWDA stands for National Water Development Agency, established in 1982 to carry out detailed studies, surveys, and investigations in respect of Peninsular Component of National Perspective for Water Resources Development. NWDA is registered under the Ministry of Irrigation (now Ministry of Water Resources).NWDA will also take up the work for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Ken-Betwa link, which is one of the priority links under the Peninsular Component of the National Perspective Plan. The present Chairman of NWDA is Shri M.K. Srinivas, Director General. NWDA is headquartered in New Delhi.
National Water Development Agency has released the official notification for the recruitment of 62 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Jr. Accounts Officer, Upper Division Clerk, Upper Division Clerk Stenographer Grade-II, and LDC. The selected candidates will be recruited for its headquarters and various field offices located across the country.

NWDA Recruitment 2021: National Water Development Agency (NWDA)
NWDA Selection Process
The Selection Process of NWDA includes the following stages:
- For Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Junior Accounts Officer, and UDC – The selection will be done through an online competitive Computer Based Test (CBT)
- For Stenographer Gr-II and LDC – The selection will be done through a competitive Computer Based online Test and Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing). Typing Tests will be conducted in English or Hindi on a computer only.
