NDA Notification 2023: As you, all know UPSC has released the calendar for various examinations in which NDA examination is also covered. NDA 1 2023 official notification has been released on 21st December 2022 on its official website for the course commencing in 2023. The total number of vacancies announced is 395 including 19 vacancies for female candidates.

Paper 3: Intelligence and Personality Test
The SSB Round consists of two stages:
- Stage I comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception * Description Test (PP&DT).
- Stage II Comprises Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference.

NDA Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who interested in applying must check the Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. If a candidate does not meet the desired eligibility criteria then his application form will be rejected.
Candidates who wish to apply for this job profile must be an unmarried male and must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Nationality
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iii)a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
Note: Candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal will not be considered eligible.

NDA Exam Physical Standards
Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2023. Candidates are advised to read the guidelines given in Appendix-IV to check whether they meet the required physical standards and whether they are eligible to apply.
They should be able to fulfill the following criteria:
(a) Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes
(b) Skipping
(c) Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each
(d) Chin-ups: Minimum 08
(e) Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters

NDA Exam Height Requirements
For Ground Duty Branch
- The minimum height for entry into ground duty branches- 157.5 cm.
- Minimum acceptable height for Gorkhas and individuals belonging to North Eastern regions of India and hilly regions of Uttarakhand- (152.5 cm).
- In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cm- (155.5 cm)

Candidates will pay the online application fee either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.
NDA Exam Centers
NDA exam centers are the cities where the offline test will be conducted. Candidates need to appear for the exam in the exam center allotted to them by the examination authority. While filling the application form, candidates need to enter their preferences of exam city. UPSC allots exam center to candidates as per the preferences exercised by them in the application form. However, the Commission reserves the right to cancel or add exam centers.
