Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray launched Mahajobs, the Maharashtra Jobs Portal on Monday, 6 July. Mahajobs is a joint venture between the Department of Industries, Department of Labor and Skills Development-Entrepreneurship of the Government of Maharashtra to connect job seekers with entrepreneurs. Mahajobs helps entrepreneurs to get their work done smoothly by providing skilled workers.
Maha Jobs Portal has been launched to provide employment opportunities to local residents. It will help in the recruitment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled employees. Candidates can apply for jobs in 17 sectors which are available on the portal. These include engineering, logistic, textile and pharmaceutical, among others. Maharashtra, has the largest industry in the country at 15% of India’s gross national product, needs to keep the industry process smooth and industry-friendly. Speaking about the portal, Industries Minister Subhash Desai said, “The portal brings together two sets of people – a job seeker and the employer. Job seekers can register and give all the information such as their skills and education On the other hand, employers will also give details about their needs. The MIDC will ensure that those looking for job will be helped till the end and everyone gets a chance.
Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or MahaDBT is a portal launched by the Government of Maharashtra to transfer the benefits and subsidies of various social welfare schemes like E-Scholarships, Pension, Disaster, etc., directly into the bank account of the beneficiary. MahaDBT hosts around 38 post-matric scholarships. These scholarships are offered by various departments of Maharashtra governments. All the students who have domicile of Maharashtra can apply for these scholarships by visiting the Mahadbt website.

- Tap on Job Finder Registration
- Fill in the required details such as name, e-mail ID, contact number
- Select yes if you possess the domicile certificate of Maharashtra
- You will receive an OTP on your registered number as well as your e-mail ID
- Submit and verify your number and select a strong password
- Enter the right captcha and press submit.
