With Coronavirus affecting almost all the states of India, the situation has become adverse in the country. State governments are trying to tackle the situation by shutting down schools, colleges, malls, theatres, etc. Students appearing for various government job examinations in the upcoming days may also face the repercussions. Many exams have already been postponed and released an official notice on its concerned websites. Candidates must not panic and stay safe in this critical situation. Here is the list of exams that have already been postponed due to the fatal disease spreading across the globe:

• BPSSC SI Mains exam postponed

Bihar Police Sub- Ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has postponed the Bihar Police SI main examination in view of lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic. Bihar SI main examination was scheduled to be held on April 26, 2020, which has now been postponed to an undetermined date. Click here to check official notification

• GPSC  exam schedule 2020 postponed

Gujarat Public Service Commission has released a notification that says the exams for various posts have been postponed due to the nationwide lockdown caused due to coronavirus pandemic. Click here to check official notification

• JEE Main 2020 Postponed

HRD Minister Ramesh Pokariyal has informed that JEE Main has been postponed to the end of May 2020 due to the lockdown condition in the country. The decision has been taken in view of the current situation

• TMC Interview Senior Resident and Medical Officer postponed

Tata Memorial Centre has postponed the Interview Schedule for the posts of Senior Resident and Medical Officer till further orders, due to lockdown imposed on the country in view of coronavirus.

• HSSC Instructor Exam 2020 Dates postponed

HSSC had earlier released the DV dates for various instructor posts. The dates have now been postponed by the SSC of Haryana amid the coronavirus lockdown in the entire country. The dates were earlier in March which was shifted to April 1to April 15, 2020. Now that the Government has announced a nation-wide lock down the dates will be re-released by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on the website. Click here to check official notification

• AIIMS PG entrance exam 2020 postponed

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has postponed the PG entrance exam for the July 2020 session. The revised date of AIIMS PG entrance exam will be notified in due course of time. Click here to check official notification

• JNVST 2020 for admission to Class 6 postponed

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has postponed the Class 6 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, 2020 (JNVST 2020) scheduled to be held on April 11, 2020 due to administrative reason.

• Assam PSC AE Exam 2020 postponed

• SSC CPO 2018 Medical Examination

• DSSSB Various Exams Postponed

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has postponed the written examination (Tier 2) to be conducted on 30th March for various posts and the skill test for various other posts to be conducted till 29th March.

• SSC GD 2018 Medical Exam

The Medical Examination (RME) in respect of qualified candidates of Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR) Examination, 2018 to be held from 24.03.2020 to 30.04.2020 has been postponed due to the situation arising out of the COVID-19. • ICSE, ISC Board Exams 2020

The Council for ICSE and ISC has postponed all exams between March 19 and 31 due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic threat. The revised dates for conduct of the remaining papers shall be notified in due course of time

• HSSC Assistant Lineman Exam
