Latest Update on FCI Recruitment 2022: Food Corporation of India or Bhartiya Kadhya Nigam Karmacari Sangh has published a notice on the official website on 1st August 2022 regarding the expeditious initiation of new FCI Recruitment 2022 drive for CateoryIV, III, and II. Food Corporation of India (FCI) is the largest Public Sector body that deals with the safety and supply chain management of food grains. It was established on 14th January 1965 with its first district office in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

According to the letter written by the General Secretary to the Chairman and Managing Director of FCI, there is a shortfall of about 1520 for Cat. II employees, 12000 and 5224 for Cat III and Cat IV respectively. FCI has earlier released the recruitment notification for Cat III on 23rd February 2019 for 4102 vacancies and 330 for Cat II on 28th September 2019. Its been more than 3 years that FCI has didn’t notified any recruitment for Cat IV, III, and II.

As there is a serious shortfall of staff, still the Food Corporation of India has not advertised any recruitment drive for any of the Categories. i.e. Cat. IV.III and II. As mentioned in the FCI Recruitment 2022 notice the organization is not showing any compassionate or humanitarian touch in this serious employee issue. The staff is being transferred to other states without considering the genuine concerns of women as well as general employees.

It is the humble request of the General Secretary to initiate the recruitment drive to overcome the shortfall of staff in FCI as well as to consider the issues raised in the letter.
