Last Minute Tips For MPPSC Preliminary Exam 2020

MPPSC Preliminary Exam 2020 for the recruitment in various administrative departments of Madhya Pradesh will be conducted by the Commission on 12th January 2020. The Admit card for the MPPSC State Services Examination 2019 has already been released. If you are eyeing on the MP State Services Examination, then you must pull up your socks and gear up for the MPPSC Examination 2019-20.

The MPPSC conducts its state services examination every year and this year it will be appointing the candidates to 330 overall vacancies in the administrative departments under MP Govt. What are the last-minute tips to be kept in mind before appearing for the MPPSC examination 2019-20?   1. Go through the MPPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern in detail.
    Before appearing for the MPPSC Preliminary exam, you must know the subjects to be asked in the exam. It will comprise of 2 papers; one for the General studies subject and the second one for the general aptitude test. You will be given 2 hours to attempt each paper.

  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The question paper will be in English and Hindi.
  • The Preliminary test is for screening purposes only.
  • The exam will be conducted offline.

2. Devote the remaining time to attempting mock tests
Appear for the mock tests before the actual exam. It will boost your confidence helping you to analyze the exam and the right way to attempt it. Make sure you note down your weaker areas and revise them once.

3. Manage time according to your needs
Time management is an important factor enabling you to attempt the majority of questions in less time. Leave the tougher and time-consuming questions to be attempted in the last. Read a question properly before marking the answer in the OMR sheet. There is no negative factor and hence you can attempt questions without any worries.

4. Remain stress-free and drink enough water
The MPPSC Preliminary examination will be conducted throughout the day with Paper 1 to be conducted from 10-12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:15 – 4:15 PM. You will be required to sit throughout the day. Do not panic and keep drinking water to prevent yourself from dehydration. You need to remain focused all day that requires a lot of patience.

5. Take enough sleep before the exam
Take enough sleep of 7-8 hours before the day of the exam. Do not study till late on the last date. You need to write the exam with a fresh mind that requires proper sleep to make sure you can concentrate properly.
