Before appearing for the MPPSC Preliminary exam, you must know the subjects to be asked in the exam. It will comprise of 2 papers; one for the General studies subject and the second one for the general aptitude test. You will be given 2 hours to attempt each paper.

- There will be no negative marking.

2. Devote the remaining time to attempting mock tests
Appear for the mock tests before the actual exam. It will boost your confidence helping you to analyze the exam and the right way to attempt it. Make sure you note down your weaker areas and revise them once.
3. Manage time according to your needs
Time management is an important factor enabling you to attempt the majority of questions in less time. Leave the tougher and time-consuming questions to be attempted in the last. Read a question properly before marking the answer in the OMR sheet. There is no negative factor and hence you can attempt questions without any worries.
4. Remain stress-free and drink enough water
The MPPSC Preliminary examination will be conducted throughout the day with Paper 1 to be conducted from 10-12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:15 – 4:15 PM. You will be required to sit throughout the day. Do not panic and keep drinking water to prevent yourself from dehydration. You need to remain focused all day that requires a lot of patience.
5. Take enough sleep before the exam
Take enough sleep of 7-8 hours before the day of the exam. Do not study till late on the last date. You need to write the exam with a fresh mind that requires proper sleep to make sure you can concentrate properly.
