The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released an official notification for the Combined Civil Services Exam 2021 on its official website. The online registration process will begin on 15th February 2021. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 245 vacancies which include vacancies for Deputy Collector, Police Sub Inspector, District Coordinator, Jail Superintendent, and Assistant Director, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, Jharkhand Education Service II, Junior Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Planing officer, and Probation Officer.

JPSC Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age for UR Candidates: 35 Years
- Maximum Age for SC/ ST (Male/ Female) Candidates: 40 Years
- Maximum Age for OBC/ BC Candidates: 37 Years
- Maximum Age for Female (UR/ OBC/ BC) Candidates: 38 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be a Degree holder from a recognized university/ equivalent qualification.
- The candidates who qualified in Preliminary Examination, have to attend with full details of certificates to Main Examination

JPSC Recruitment 2021: Exam Pattern
The Combined Competitive Examination will be held in three stages-
- Preliminary Examination (Multiple Choice Objective Type)
- Main Examination (Written & Interview)
- Personality Test
Preliminary Examination:– Preliminary examination will consist of two papers with Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions, Duration 2-2 hours for each paper, Paper-I (General Studies), Paper-II (General Studies) each paper carries 100 marks. The preliminary Competitive Exam will consist of Multiple Choice & Objective Type questions. The question paper will be in Devanagari and Roman script.
Main Examination:-The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination, can attend for Main Examination. There are three subjects, i.e General Hindi carries 100 marks, General Studies Question Paper -1 carries 200 marks, and General Studies Question Paper -2 carries 200 marks. General Hindi marks will not be added to Written Test & Personality test but those who did not get 30% marks in General Hindi are not eligible for Written Examination. The scheme of the main examination is as follows-

Personality Test: Those who qualified in Main Examination will be called for a Personality Test of 200 marks.
