Jammu & Kashmir Recruitment 2020: Jammu & Kashmir govt will be conducting a recruitment drive for the first time since the inception of the Union Territory. Over 10,000 vacancies at all levels have been identified for recruitment in various departments in the first phase. While applying for recruitment, no document will be required to be submitted.
A high-level meeting was convened to review progress on accelerated recruitment at various levels with a special focus on Class IV vacancies. All the posts shall be filled through a special recruitment drive and under the ‘Jammu and Kashmir appointment to class IV special recruitment rules 2020’.

Jammu & Kashmir Recruitment 2020: Vacancies
All the departments under Jammu & Kashmir govt. have submitted vacancies of more than 11000 under Class-IV posts. The scrutiny in terms of Recruitment Rules and proper division among all categories is being set up and around 7000 posts across 19 departments have been identified which will be advertised in the first phase of recruitment very soon. Apart from these 2000 posts of Panchayat Accounts Assistants, 1000+ posts of Doctors and around 100 posts of Veterinarians are also ready for commencement of the selection process.
In this recruitment, special weightage will be given to widows, destitute, divorced women, single mothers and candidates of those families where no other family member (parents or siblings) has a government job.

All the departments are expected to quickly place their indents to the Services Selection Board (SSB) through the general administration department. Service Selection Board is the single and sole agency for this special recruitment drive. Commission also said that in order to simplify the process and cut down all delays, the administrative council has ordered all departments to make necessary amendments and modifications in their recruitment rules based on this decision alone and that no separate approval shall be sought for this purpose.
