Staff Selection Commission released the most awaited SSC CGL 2022 Notification on 17th September 2022 on the official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. This year the SSC CGL 2022 Notification has surprised the aspirants who were eagerly waiting for this year’s SSC CGL Recruitment. SSC has introduced a Two Tier Selection Process for SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 along with the changes in the Tier 2 Exam Pattern. The SSC CGL Tier 3 & Tier 4 are canceled and now the selection process will be done based on the performance of Tier 1 & 2 only.
According to the revised SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022, the knowledge of computers is necessary to crack this exam. As the new selection process, as well as the new exam pattern, is introduced in the SSC CGL 2022 Notification, the candidate must have the knowledge of computers to crack the exam and to get appointed in the various posts of ministries and other government organizations.
The Tier 2 of SSC CGL has introduced the Computer Knowledge Test in Section 3 of Module 1. The candidates will be selected in SSC CGL 2022 will be based on:

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022 (Revised)
There are no changes done in the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2022. There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern has been modified which includes the introduction of three subjects: Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness. Now a candidate must have the knowledge of computers to crack this exam.

Is this New Pattern Hints Towards The Pattern of NRA CET?
As we all know that the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the creation of the NRA for conducting the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the Institute of Banking Service Personnel (IBPS), Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Rail,way Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and the syllabus for all these three examinations will be common. The CET score will remain valid until 3 years from the date of participation. After the formation of NRA, there will be a single common test for shortlisting candidates for Group B and C (non-technical) posts. The new selection process of SSC CGL, revised Tier 2 Exam Pattern introducing the Computer Knowledge Test is a hint towards NRA CET. Aspirants should prepare themselves for the upcoming changes in various government exams that will be conducted by the NRA from 2022 onwards. The expected Exam Pattern of the NRA CET consists of four subjects i.e. Reasoning Ability, English Language & Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness with 25 questions for each subject. Here is NRA CET Exam Pattern (Expected).

The expected Exam Pattern of the NRA CET consists of four subjects i.e. Reasoning Ability, English Language & Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness with 25 questions for each subject. The expected exam pattern of NRA CET is the same as the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern which can be seen above. The only changes are made in the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern which hints toward the NRA CET Exam Pattern.
NRA CET
NRA CET will be an online Tier-1 examination and aims to eliminate the need for multiple examinations for recruitment in government and public sector jobs. The CET will screen and shortlist candidates for non-gazetted or non-technical posts under Group B and C categories. Candidates will be able to apply for jobs in different sectors depending upon their aptitude and preferences based on the CET score.
